Legendary tone. Legendary quality. All analog, all Neve. The MBT Master Bus Transformer from Rupert Neve Designs adds the magic that transforms a good mix into a great one. Filled with RND's custom transformers refined over the last 60 years of music history, the MBT brings a channel-strip-like design, vintage vibe, and tactile ease of use to your productions. Sculpt your signal with gentle, musical high-pass and shelving filters before passing it on to the Opto-compressor to add the depth and character only component interaction can deliver. Then dial in the ideal amount of stereo spread with the addititve width control. An additional high-pass filter for the width control allows you to tailor the low-end focus to the specific mix. The MBT's Silk section provides control over the harmonic content or timbre of your audio. We perceive instruments and sounds based largely on their timbre, and Silk offers a way to customize instruments and mixes by altering the harmonics to fit the sound in your head.
