Smart modules expand the functionality and connectivity of specific CueServer 3 models by conveniently plugging into an available module slot. Employ the SM-RS232 module to interface with devices requiring RS-232 serial communications, such as video projectors, window covering motors, automation systems, media servers, and more.
Each SM-RS232 module introduces an additional communication link utilizing the RS-232 serial standard. Equipped with a 3-position 5.08mm pluggable terminal block, the SM-RS232 facilitates easy field wiring with terminals for Tx (transmit data), Rx (receive data), and COM (common).
Furthermore, the module features an LED indicator that offers quick and clear operational status updates at a glance.
