Product Overview
The Atlona AT-HDR-CAT-2 is a distribution amplifier specifically engineered for high dynamic range (HDR) applications, featuring one HDMI® input and two HDBaseT™ outputs. Each output is capable of transmitting 4K/UHD video at a refresh rate of 60 Hz, employing 4:4:4 chroma sampling, and offering support for various HDR formats, multi-channel audio, control signals, and power delivery up to distances of 130 ft. (40 m) or 1080p up to 230 ft. (70 m) over Category 6/6A cabling.
The HDR-CAT-2 is equipped with advanced integration capabilities tailored for commercial AV distribution purposes. These include HDMI pass-through, audio de-embedding, EDID management, CEC display control, RS-232 and IR control extension, remote power for receivers, and HDBaseT link testing. The device seamlessly interfaces with any TCP/IP or RS-232 control system and is housed in a low-profile enclosure complemented by an external universal power supply.
Designed to transmit HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 content to AT-HDR-EX-70C-RX receivers, the HDR-CAT-2 is part of a comprehensive family of 4K HDR HDMI to HDBaseT distribution amplifiers, which encompasses models such as the HDR-CAT-4 with four outputs, HDR-CAT-8 with eight outputs, and HDR-CAT-4ED offering extended distance capabilities with four outputs.
