Using convolution and physical modeling, they've emulated the classic Stude/Revox PR99 Mk II analog mixdown & mastering recorder. Provided with four classic tape formulations, you're encouraged to mix and match, creating a machine with the right amount of "tape sound" for each recording. Tape speed, transport modeling, and signal path controls allow further tweaking of each model, so you can create your perfect machine! And if you really want to get into the weeds, IK included a calibration section that allows you to experiment with meter calibration, tape bias, and machine EQ more conveniently than back in the day!
