To bring that magic to your desktop IK meticuously modeled four iconic analog machines using four different tape formulations. The Ampex 440B and Revox PR99 Mk II emulations offer classic two track mix & mastering models with the studio staples MCI JH24 and Studer A80 tking care of the 24 track side. Mix and match tape formulations with machines to find the right amount of "tape sound" for your recording. Tape speed, transport modeling, bias settings, and signal path controls allow further tweaking of each model so you can create your perfect machine! And if you really want to get into the weeds, IK included a calibration section that allows you to experiment with meter calibration, tape bias, and machine EQ in a more convenient way than back in the day!
