Product Overview
The V-RAPTOR™ 8K S35 is a new addition to RED® DSMC3™ cameras, building on the architecture of its larger 8K VV predecessor while offering a new shooting format optimized for Super35mm lenses. This camera allows filmmakers to capture true-to-life detail with 8K resolution while utilizing the versatile range of Super35mm lenses. With a dynamic range of over 16.5 stops, the V-RAPTOR 8K S35 can create stunning slow-motion imagery at 120 fps or up to 600 fps at 2K. It also features RED's proprietary REDCODE® RAW codec and the latest IPP2 workflow and color management.
Despite its compact size of just over 4 lbs, the V-RAPTOR 8K S35 offers a modernized platform with advanced connectivity solutions, including RED Connect for 8K R3D cinematic live streaming, remote control and monitoring, in-camera Frame.io integration, AWS direct upload, and more. With two 4K 12G-SDI outputs, XLR audio and phantom power via breakout adapter, and 1080p livestream, this camera is capable of handling a variety of shooting situations.
