The Failsafe Gadget is an invaluable tool for any broadcast setup. A sophisticated sensor monitors the Main source constantly. If it detects silence, it automatically switches to a backup source, ensuring listeners never experience the dreaded "radio silence". You have complete control over the sensitivity of the sensor and the duration before switching takes place, allowing you to customize settings for different programming styles. The Gadget can be programmed to remain on the backup source until manually switched or revert to the main source when audio returns. In addition to audio switching, a logic output from the Failsafe Gadget can activate a device, like the Studio Signal Light (sold separately), or alarm if silence is detected, making it ideal for automated segments. With a status LED providing at-a-glance input verification plus easy access switches and rotary pots to control all functions, this simple A/B switch will keep your broadcasts running smoothly at all times!
