Combine audio technica's venerable ATH-M50X headphones with a 20-series type cardioid condenser microphone and you get the ATH-M50xSTS. A headset designed to give streamers, content creators, and their audiences the studio-quality performance they deserve. The headset features the same large-aperture drivers as the M50X yielding an accurate full-range reproduction that gives you the confidence to perform your best. The cardioid condenser microphone is attached to a flexible boom arm that places the element close to your mouth, capturing articulate, intelligible dialog and rejecting unwanted background noise. Plus, with a flip of the boom arm, you can quickly and conveniently mute the microphone. And since things don't always go as planned, the ATH-M50xSTS offers a high level of isolation and comfort, keeping you focused and getting you through long sessions. The headset comes with two distinct earpad types so you can find your sweet spot between audio quality/isolation and breathability/comfort.
