Product Overview

Building on the brilliant design and transparent sound of the C-800G and C-100, Sony introduces the C-80 uni-directional dual-diaphragm condenser microphone. Sony's dual-diaphragm design yields a vocal microphone that captures the presence, fullness, and character of the source without the low-end overload (proximity effect) often associated with close miking a vocalist. A two-part metallic body eliminates acoustic resonance and vibration to yield recordings with a wide dynamic range and extremely low noise. The C-80 features a low-cut filter and -10dB switch allowing you to configure its input to the characteristics of the source.

Sony C-80 Includes:

  • Cradle suspension (1)
  • Operating instructions (1)
  • Carrying case (1)

Sony C-80 Features:

  • Dual-diaphragm construction suppresses the proximity effect
  • Low-cut filter
  • -10dB pad
