Whirlwind MIP1B Media Input Plate, 2-gang, black

The Whirlwind MIP1 is a two-gang black wallplate designed to offer audio interface functionality. It incorporates a mono version of the Whirlwind pcDI computer interface device, featuring RCA and 3.5mm stereo input jacks. Additionally, it includes a speaker input terminated with a 16 Ohm load resistor. The line and speaker inputs are combined and routed to the Dimax transformer, which both balances the output signal and attenuates it by 20 dB. The MIP1 wallplate also includes a Ground Lift switch that isolates the ground connection between the inputs and the output screw terminal. Furthermore, the MIP1 plate is equipped with a female XLR connector, allowing for the connection of a separate microphone channel.
