Designed for Carbon-powered studios, the Carbon Pre features eight pristine 32-bit preamps that capture everything from a whisper to a scream and present it to you with every detail intact. With expandability of up to two units (each sold separately), carbon Pre can deliver up to 24 mic/line inputs and 24 line outputs for your large studio sessions or live recordings. A pair of front-mounted variable Z (impedance) instrument inputs along with rear panel 8 x 8 DB-25 and ADAT I/O offer plenty of connection options. You can use Carbon Pre to grow your Pro Tools | HD system (sold separately) too. Remotely control all of Carbon Pre's settings within Pro Tools (sold separately). Gain, phantom power, impedance switching, and more can be saved and recalled saving you time, headaches, and speeding up your workflow. And with instant session recall, you can switch between sessions and skip manual setup and reconfiguration.
