Blonder-Tongue NXG-SDI-4 4-Channel SDI Encoder Module

The NXG-SDI-4 module is designed to encode a maximum of 4 channels in MPEG-2, H.264 (AVC), or H.265 (HEVC) video formats, transmitting the output as IP Single Program Transport Streams (SPTS) onto the NXG mainframe backplane. This enables subsequent processing within the NXG system, including optional functionalities such as QAM modulation, DRM/CAS integration, or IPTV multicast or unicast output. The NXG-SDI4 accommodates SD-/HD-/3G-SDI input sources, supporting resolutions from 480i up to 1080p60. Audio encoding capabilities encompass Mpeg2, AAC, AC3 (Dolby Digital), and MP3 formats.
