Take control of your synthesis with Yamaha's AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) engine. Featuring eight programmable synths with 18 filter types for each of the sixteen available AWM2 parts, the MODX8+ provides limitless possibilities. Mold and shape your sound with envelope generators, LFOs, EQ, and effects. Go from classic '80s DX7 sounds to today's driving EDM patches and everywhere in between, thanks to exclusive FM-X morphing architecture. The lightweight, compact MODX8+ is also compatible with sound libraries from the Motif series and DX7. And you'll enjoy playing all of these sounds on Yamaha's 88-key GHS (Graded Hammer Standard action) playing surface that delivers the strike and bounce-back feel of an acoustic piano. The MODX8+ easily integrates with Cubase or any AU-compatible DAW (sold separately) and functions as a 4-in/10-out USB audio interface for use on stage, studio, or stream.
