With over 50 articulations and their variations, Emotional Viola delivers stirringly expressive viola sounds for use in film scoring, pop music, classical or modern avant-garde compositions, and more. The Best Service Contextual sampling technique allows Emotional Viola to produce true legato, vibrato, and rebowing.

Intelligent scripting was used to link the sampled articulations so they follow the user's style of playing. The program's well-chosen timbre selections allow the user to coax a wide variety of sounds out of the instrument, with each being strikingly realistic. The included stackable patch allows you to match the articulations and key switching of the Emotional Cello and Violin Collections (sold separately).

The Emotional Viola was recorded at the Mastermix Studio near Munich in a wood-paneled room with a high ceiling and the greatest possible distance from the wall. For maximum flexibility, two Neumann KM184 and U87 microphones were placed very close, therefore the room sound is quite subtle, allowing for the use of your own effects. However, you can also use the integrated Convolution Reverb.
