The versatile and easy-to-use Model 209 Talent Console from Studio Technologies brings high-performance audio to streaming broadcasts, post-production facilities, radio and TV broadcasts, and more. A unique combination of audio, remote control, and tally-output resources also make the Model 209 ideal for use in podcasting and other specialized audio applications.

A high headroom, low noise input preamp ensures a wide dynamic range so you hear precisely what you want and nothing you don't. Integrated 48V phantom power means you can use professional condenser microphones in addition to the dynamic, ribbon, or headset microphone of your choice.

Once the signal has been digitized by the unit's pristine 32-bit 96 kHz digital converters, audio is output via a back panel LAN connection.The connection supports 2 simultaneous channels of Dante audio input and output over your in-house network. Model 209's support for Dante means the audio can be routed to other devices using the Dante Controller Software. The 209 conveniently draws PoE (Power over Ethernet) eliminating the need for a standard power source.

The front panel features both 1/4" and 1/8" headphone outputs with a dedicated volume for monitoring and a convenient talkback button for talent. Rear panel tally outputs allow everyone to ascertain the on/off status of up to two microphones. There are also GPI remote control inputs that can be configured to provide remote talkback function or trigger the tally outputs.

The unit can easily be mounted under a tabletop, within custom furniture, or as part of an on-air set. With its unique skill set, the 209 will quickly become the center of your broadcast or production facility.
