The KSI 12-1CS Series IV ceiling mount subwoofer is specifically designed to meet the requirements of a 2x2 grid mounting system, making it the optimal choice for extended low frequency reproduction in such setups. Like all KSI ceiling mount loudspeakers, the 12-1CS delivers exceptional performance, solid bass response, and a wide dynamic range.

At the heart of the KSI 12-1CS is the high power 1258-8 12" cast frame transducer. This transducer is engineered to provide smooth and extended low frequency reproduction within the constraints of a small enclosure, as dictated by the 2x2 grid mounting system. The 1258-8 boasts a 2" high temperature voice coil and a powerful magnet structure, ensuring high efficiency in converting electrical energy to acoustical energy. The 12-1CS also features an optimally vented, stiff, and lightweight enclosure to further enhance its performance.

To achieve the best possible performance, it is recommended to connect the 12-1CS to a high-quality power amplifier and an active crossover. The crossover frequency should be set no higher than 250 Hz to ensure optimal integration with the system.
