Every space inspires when you play Yamaha's 6-string TransAcoustic dreadnaught cutaway acoustic guitar. Inside, outside, in rooms small or large, Yamaha's Transacoustic technology allows you to craft the sound you want wherever you are. An integrated actuator excites the guitar body as you play, creating natural reverb and chorus that radiate from the guitar, while scalloped inner bracing delivers a full rich tone.

A trio of mini control knobs affords control over the effects levels and line output volume. You have your choice of room or hall-style reverb that transitions at the 12:00 position of the rotary knob. By replacing the traditional acoustic/electric control plate with discrete knobs and integrating the battery box into the end-pin jack, Yamaha was able to retain more body wood resulting in a more authentic sound.

The classic traditional western cutaway body style features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a nato neck with rosewood fretboard. Available in a vintage tint, brown sunburst, or black finish, the FGC-TA will inspire and entertain you and those lucky enough to listen.
