Product Overview

The HD-MD-4K-400 from Crestron offers an economical solution for delivering multimedia presentations in educational settings and conference rooms. It comprises of two components - the transmitter (HD-TX-301-C-E) and the receiver (HD-RX-4K-210-C-E) - that allow you to transmit HDMI® or VGA signals over a CATx (CAT5e or higher) cable. With resolutions up to 2K, the transmission distance reaches up to 230 feet (70 meters), while for higher resolutions up to 4K, the transmission distance is limited to 130 feet (40 meters). The transmitter boasts two HDMI inputs and one VGA input, complete with a stereo analog audio input. Meanwhile, the receiver offers an additional HDMI input, which can be used to connect to a nearby AV source or an optional Crestron media presentation wall plate (sold separately as MP-WP152).

NOTE: Power is transmitted over the CATx cable that connects the transmitter to the receiver.
