The speaker integrates with third-party mass-notification software to deliver day-to-day and critical announcements. Compatibility with major SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) systems makes the IPWDHD-MW ideal for new and retrofit installations. Since the unit draws power over Ethernet (PoE), basic installation involves a single Cat5 or Cat6 cable (sold separately).
