LD Systems elegantly solves the problem of delivering intelligible audio in difficult spaces with the MAUIi1 passive indoor/outdoor installation column speaker. The surface-mounted i1 features nine 3" mid-rnge drivers, two 1" high-frequency drivers, and a unique BEM-optimized waveguide. The result is that unnecessary reflections from the floor and ceiling are eliminated by keeping vertical dispersion narrow and horizontal dispersion wide.

MAUIi1 can operate in 70/100V constant-voltage distributed systems or at 8 Ohms thanks to an integrated selector switch. A power tap allows you to select 7.5W, 15W, 30W, or 60W to accommodate the number of speakers in the system. The speaker is rated for 120W RMS (average over time) power handling when running at 8 Ohms.

Weather-treated cones, an aluminum speaker grille, and a weatherproof connection panel cover earn the MAUIi1 an IP65 ingress rating and clear it for use inside or out, even in areas like pools, patios, and water parks. Surface installation is easy with the included U-bracket and with its black or white color selection, the loudspeaker blends unobtrusively and discreetly into almost any location.
