Canon blended the best of the EOS 5D and EOS-1D X to create the EOS R3 24.1 MP mirrorless digital camera. Equipped with Canon's first full-frame back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, the EOS R3 delivers stunning image quality with low distortion. Plus, the R3's 100-102400 ISO range means you can capture the images you see in any light, just as you see them.
In 1998 the Canon EOS 3 debuted AF eye control, and now the EOS R3 brings it into the digital mirrorless age. Simply look through the viewfinder, direct your eye to the intended focus area, select, and shoot. This allows you to quickly capture multiple shots of varying composition with minimal effort. The EOS R3 takes AF further with integrated eye, face, head, animal, and even vehicle detection!
A beautiful 3.2" vari-angle LCD touchscreen allows framed composition, photo review, and convenient menu access. Set the R3 to live view, tap the screen, and the camera will lock focus to that area, allowing you to build the workflow that best suits your needs.
The EOS R3 can record video in 6K RAW at 60 fps or 4K 120 fps uncropped with mode selectability from 8 to 12 bit using HDR PQ, Canon Log 3, RAW, or EOS Standard. The R3's up-front versatility will be greatly appreciated when post-production comes around.
Dual super high-speed CFexpress slots ensure you'll have room for all of the data you capture with a UHS-II SD slot included as an alternative or backup solution. Once you have the images and video you need, you can transfer them to your desired device via USB, Ethernet, 5GHz Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth from wherever you are.
