Netgear's AV Line M4250-10G2F-PoE+ 8x1G PoE+ 125W 2x1G managed switch gives A/V professionals an elegant out-of-the-box solution for A/V-over-IP on standard category cabling and fiber. The GSM4212P-100NAS is equipped with ten 1Gb Ethernt ports and two 1Gb SFP ports that support fiber or copper transmission with PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) support on eight of the Ethernet ports. The PoE+ ports are 30W each with a budget of 125W.

Integrated NETGEAR IGMP Plus is a factory set feature that allows most installations to be up and running with little engineering time required. An A/V-oriented web-based user interface lets you assign profiles to individual ports as required. The unit comes with factory profiles for common protocols, or you can easily create user-specified profiles for assignment to fi the application.

The GSM4212P-100NAS is a good fit for noise-sensitive environments with its default mode registering less noise than most other switches. And if certain conditions are met, the adjustable fans can be turned off for increased noise reduction.
