3.5mm mics operate off 5v plug-in power, the problem is, most pro mixers and interfaces have 48v phantom power which isn't compatible. Antlion solved this by simply converting 48v phantom power to 5v plug-in power with the self-contained GDL-3220.

Especially useful with directional mics, the 3220 has a built-in proximity effect compensator that reduces the enhanced bass response created when moving a directional mic closer to the source.
