SoundTools CAT Rack FX 3x4-Channel Female XLR to etherCON Rackmount Unit

Allowing you to send 12 channels of mic or line-level audio down a single Cat5e or better cable, the SoundTools CAT Rack FX is a 12-channel female XLR rack box with 6 Ethernet ports (3 in / 3 out) that can also be used for daisy-chaining. When used with the CAT Rack male (sold separately) the possibilities are wide open.

But it gets better. In addition to audio, the CAT Rack can also send AES3, DMX, and Com signals in any combination of the 4 channels. Being able to daisy chain via Ethernet allows you to position multiple 12-channel CAT Racks where needed for convenience allowing you to use fewer XLR cables for high channel count applications. The Racks come with reversible ears and can be positioned so the ins and outs of multiple racks can be accessed quickly and easily.
