The Tamron 24-70 G2, known as Model A032, represents a high-speed zoom meticulously crafted to harness the full potential of the latest high-pixel-density cameras while delivering unparalleled image quality. Employing specialized, top-tier glass materials that ensure superior optical transmittance, the A032 sets a new benchmark in its class by offering 5-stop image stabilization, the highest among its counterparts.
Innovative utilization of specialized, premium-grade glass materials with enhanced optical transmittance distinguishes the new A032 model, guaranteeing superior color reproduction and heightened sharpness. Comprising a sophisticated optical configuration of 17 glass elements arranged in 12 groups, this lens incorporates 2 XR (Extra Refractive Index) glass elements to combat optical aberrations, 3 LD (Low Dispersion) elements adept at minimizing axial and transverse chromatic aberrations prevalent in telephoto and wide-angle scenarios respectively, 3 GM (glass-molded aspherical) elements, and 1 hybrid aspherical lens element. This combination effectively neutralizes spherical aberrations and distortions, achieving an unprecedented level of color accuracy and depictive performance.
Introducing Tamron’s proprietary eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) Coating, the A032 lens integrates an ultra-low-refractive-index nano-structured layer with conventional multi-layer coating techniques. This technological marvel significantly enhances anti-reflection performance, complemented by Tamron’s BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating. The seamless fusion of these coatings substantially mitigates ghosting and flare issues typically encountered when capturing backlit subjects.
