Pianoteq's meticulous model retains the original instrument's sparkling treble and powerful bass, a range that's realized on everything from tender pianissimos to thunderous bombastic passages, equally matching the orchestra's power and intimacy.

The Aliquot System, unique to Bluthner grands, is faithfully modeled in this instrument. Its purpose is to create a sympathetic vibrating string that enhances the tone, yielding a signature harmonic richness that's hard to match. In the Standard and Pro version, it's possible to modify this specific parameter to increase or decrease the effect.
