ESE ES-289E Time Code Based NTP Time Server

The ES-289E reads ESE or SMPTE/EBU time codes and provides an NTP output on a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connector to put accurate time information onto a network. A voltage-controlled, temperature-compensated crystal oscillator maintains the accuracy of the time code outputs when lock is lost.

Housed in a rugged black anodized enclosure, the ES-289E is an IPV4/IVP6 compatible Time Server. NTP clients can authenticate the NTP service with MD5 or SHA1 Symmetric Key Authentication. SNMP V1, V2, and V3 support enables specified users to be notified if Time Code Lock is lost or gained, if a cold boot occurs, or if NTP Authentication failed. The ES-289E’s web server can operate in two modes: HTTP or HTTPS, with the HTTPS mode having the advantage of all information transmitted or received being encrypted.
