The D7 is a powerful reference dynamic vocal microphone with the open sound of a condenser capsule. Its patented dual layer Varimotion diaphragm provides an amazingly clean and crisp sound while the diaphragm’s unique laminated material damps high resonance peaks in the frequency response. This design combined with the D7’s tight supercardioid polar pattern allow for a very high gain before feedback. Handling noise is effectively eliminated by a mechano-pneumatic capsule suspension and an integrated high-pass filter.
