Sound Devices MX-Hirose DC Input Sled for MixPre Records

The MX-Hirose is a DC module (transformer) designd to power the Sound Devices Mix Pre Original, M, and II series field recorders. The power cable connects to the MX with a locking Hirose jack. When using the original MixPre it is recommended that you use a right angle Hirose connector.

Before connecting the MX-Hirose, the MixPre's power source should be set to the NiMH option. Removing the MX can be accomplished with the push of the release tab. However, when using the MixPre-10 II, it is necessary to use a flat blade screwdriver or similar tool for removal.
