Mackie CR8-XBT 8" Multimedia Monitors with Bluetooth, Pair

The term reference monitors can scare people away, so Mackie designed the CR8-XBT to draw you in. No Need to drop your entire budget on new monitors. The CR8-XBT deliver studio-quality sound to real-world musicians, video producers, content creators, and anyone else with pockets of average depth.

The 8" 2-way CR8-XBT is powered internally by a 160-watt high-headroom amp for plenty of volume before distortion, so crank em' up. Specially designed waveguides deliver blanket sound dispersion at any level, making anything in front the sweet spot. While custom-tuned rear ports give these speakers a smooth, full low end. All wood cabinets with a black brushed metal front not only provide a more desirable tonal character than all-plastic designs, they look cooler too!

With an eye on versatility, the CR8-XBT features Bluetooth connectivity plus old school 1/4", 1/8", and RCA inputs. You even get 1/8" to 1/8", and 1/8" to RCA cables for your mobile devices and computers. A nice big volume knob is located on the front of the powered speaker, and a back panel position switch lets you choose which side of your desk you want that knob on. There's even a built-in speaker defeating headphone jack positioned conveniently on the front panel.

Angled acoustic isolation pads are included with the CR8-XBT to reduce vibration transfer or "coupling". Coupling can create a false undefined frequency response, especially in the mid and low ranges. These pads not only reduce coupling, they also provide vertical position control for more focused listening.
