Yamaha CG-TA TransAcoustic Nylon String Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Nylon Strings and Engelmann Spruce Top

The Yamaha CG, a member of the TransAcoustic series, is a nylon-string acoustic/electric classical guitar that combines traditional acoustic tones with internally amplified effects. This instrument caters to guitarists in home, stage, or studio environments. Equipped with the System 70 TransAcoustic electronics, it enables the utilization of built-in reverb and chorus effects without the need for external amplification. The guitar leverages its own resonance to project these effects. It incorporates an integrated SRT piezo pickup, facilitating easy connectivity to an amplifier or audio interface/mixer via the 1/4" output.

The CG features ovangkol back and sides, along with a solid Engelmann spruce top, ensuring a balanced and resonant sound. The nato neck is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, complete with side dot markers for improved fretboard navigation. The conveniently located controls on the side of the CG grant straightforward access to adjust the line output volume and TransAcoustic settings.
