Atlas IED M1000-USA 8" Dual Cone Sound Masking Speaker, 70.7V, Enclosure

Designed for today’s open office plan sound masking requirements, the M1000-USA will accurately reproduce the needed spectrum of masking sound into the plenum space to enhance conversational privacy. The included 743 cubic inch square enclosure ensures ample low frequency response and works well with the specially designed 8-inch dual cone speaker. A high efficiency 70/7V internal transformer is routed to an external selector switch for easy system tuning.

The exclusive AtlasIED EZ hang brackets simplify installation by utilizing two collapsible galvanized hangers that can be quickly configured to allow upward, downward, or horizontal firing installation. The hangers are factory installed and fold flat for shipping. Also included is a 78-inch (2M) suspension chain system that allows quick mounting and height adjustment. An integral wire strain relief is located on the top of the enclosure for secure speaker cable termination.

In addition, to meet most local code requirements, the M1000-USA includes a cover containing both knockouts and a strain relief. This will allow for the use of rigid or flexible conduit (if required) and easily accommodates “through” connections on the removable plate.
