If you're looking for a PA system that's portable, powerful, reliable, and doesn't require a degree in sound engineering to operate, then you want the Mackie SRM Flex.
The Flex is a 1300W column PA that weighs less than 30 lbs. and can be easily carried by one person. The 3-piece high-frequency tower collapses down to fit in the supplied shoulder-strap carry bag while the mixer/low-frequency module has a convenient top-mounted carry handle.
The wide-dispersion high-frequency array and 10" subwoofer are powered by a high-headroom 1300W amplifier that fills the room with sound. Since underpowering for the room is the source of most PA distortion, the Flex will fully cover most small to moderate-size rooms without any distortion. The modular tower design allows you to adapt the height of the mid/high frequencies to the listener's ear level.
A 6-channel digital mixer with ample inputs and streaming capability lets you connect guitars, microphones, keyboards and external playback devices for all your performance needs. Channels 1 and 2 have dedicated 2-band EQs and reverb with 3 presets to choose from so you don't have rows and rows of knobs and switches to deal with. You can control the channels via the top-mounted rotary knobs or from your smartphone so you can remain on stage. To further take the guesswork out of great sound, Mackie devised 3 voicing modes (Music, Speech and Live) to quickly tailor the system to your situation.
As with all Mackie gear, you get the signature "Built-Like-A-Tank" construction, but with the Flex it comes in a lightweight small footprint.
