DiGiCo Little Red Box Cat5e MADI Splitter

The first in a new line of solution-based products from DiGiCo, the Little Red Box allows you to share a D-Rack or a MaDiRack (both sold separately) between two SD9 or SD11 digital mixing consoles. It also connects an SD9 or SD11 and MADI console (SD8, SD7 or D-Series) with a D-Rack.

Instead of connecting to only one mixing console, this MADI splitter lets you plug in your D-Rack, main console and a secondary console. The main console controls all gains, as well as outputs on the rack, while the secondary console acts as a 'receive only' module for the inputs, allowing you to share the rack and operate either Front of House or monitors. Plus, DiGiCo’s gain tracking system can be activated when required.

The SPLIT MADI switch allows you to decide if you want to split a D-Rack or one of DiGiCo's other racks. SPLIT mode allows two SD9s or SD11s to share one D-Rack on CAT5e connections, while MADI mode lets the two consoles share one DiGiCo rack with MADI connections, or any other MADI equipped device.

The Little Red Box is powered via USB, with a second USB port acting as a 'thru', meaning there is no loss of available connections.
