Inspired by a different original device, each band of the Custom EQ has its own unique boost and attenuation design, circuit topology, and behaves differently when boosting or cutting. Weave air to dull tracks by adding 10db of 15K without getting strident, bring down brittle harshness in a vocal by cutting 2K without losing clarity, and add low-end girth by adding 100 Hz without getting tubby. Bands even have their own analog-modeled output section, featuring rich musical harmonics for a lively analog vibe.

Based on passive designs, the Custom Series Lift processor is a boost-only filter with two setting to add life and girth to your tracks. High Lift opens the top end in a natural way, while the Present and Silky buttons tune the shape of the high frequencies—adding air and space without getting harsh or strident. Low Lift injects natural bass energy, while the Big and Punchy buttons shape the transient and low frequency information for added magic to bass guitars and kick drums.
