Shure UA844 Antenna Distribution System

This Shure Package includes one UA844+SWB 5-Way Active Antenna Splitter Unit and two UA874 Active Directional Antenna.

The UA844+SWB from Shure is an antenna distribution system allowing you to expand wireless microphone systems by splitting one pair of antennas to multiple receivers. While insertion loss typically results from splitting signal power to multiple outputs, this unit compensates by amplifying RF signals. One UA844+SWB system can support five wireless receivers and a maximum of five total UA844+SWB systems can be used in a two-tired configuration.

Shure's UA874 Active Directional Antenna uses a log periodic dipole array to form a cardioid receiving pattern toward the desired coverage area, achieving greater rejection of RF signals outside the area than standard ½-wave omnidirectional antennas. An integrated amplifier with 4 switchable (2 active/2 passive) gain settings compensates for varying degrees of coaxial cable signal loss.
