Crafted by Seymour Duncan in collaboration with Perphery guitarist Mark Holcomb, 11900-017 Dark Sun combines warm and clean digital algorithm with lush Hall reverb to create dynamic sound you can configure on the fly. Inspired by Mark Holcomb's favorite elements from key Seymour Duncan pedals,11900-017 Dark Sun pairs a vibrant digital delay algorithm with a full Hall reverb and the ability to route the two in just about any configuration. Shape the EQ of effects, add saturation, lush choral modulation, or control the mix of the effect with your playing via instilled Dynamic Expression. Allowing for ambient or gnarly sound trails, turn on Dynamic Expression and the mix control is automatically ducked—letting notes ring and breath for softer play or getting delay and reverb out of your way when digging in.

Change effects on the fly with 11900-017 Dark Sun's routing control featuring a 4-position switch that creates dramatically different sounds depending on how it’s set. Assign Delay or Reverb to left or right channels to use two effects in stereo or as two separate pedals in one. Completing the feature set are gain for Saturation of lo-fi effects, modulation (assignable to delay, the reverb or both), and a compliment of filters: Low Pass to soften and warm sound or High Pass to cut big low-end repeats. Four built-in tap divisions are included, allowing you to set the tempo via tap footswitch, Time Control, or MIDI, while a micro-USB port helps keep up with firmware updates and preset management. True to all Seymour Duncan pedals, this true-bypass switching pedal was created, designed, and built in the US.
