Product Overview
The ATM350GL is a UniMount® mounting system designed especially for use with guitars, and provides you with the tools for confident performance. This package features the ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone, a high-SPL (sound pressure level) mic that delivers a clear, well-balanced response from any instrument. When combined with the supplied AT8491G thumbscrew-adjustable guitar-mounting clamp, plus the strong, flexible AT8490L 9" gooseneck, the mic can be fastened securely to a guitar or other stringed instrument with a body depth of 90 to 135mm, and offers excellent shock-resistance.
The mic’s featured cardioid polar pattern isolates the desired instrument's sound by reducing side and rear pickup, and its switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter on the in-line power module helps control undesired low-frequency (LF) noise. Also included is an AT8468 violin mount with hook-and-loop fastener for further operational versatility.
And speaking of versatility, keep in mind this mic also features an interchangeable element. It includes the Cardioid (UE-C, 120°) model, with UE-H hypercardioid (100°) and UE-O omnidirectional (360°) elements also available (and sold separately).
