Now, the DSMC2 DRAGON-X™ 5K S35 provides that same image quality as well as the benefits of high frame rates at 5K, blazing quick data speeds, plus access to RED’s latest image processing pipeline (IPP2). Making“obsolescence obsolete,” owners will have upgradeability to other sensors in the DSMC2 family.

Intuitive Workflow and Unparalleled Compression
RED’s DSMC2 camera line offers a fully overhauled and enhanced image processing pipeline (IPP2). This image pipeline delivers on a host of benefits including better color management of challenging tones along with smoother highlight roll-off, and standardized color space and gamma. RED also features a proprietary file format, efficiently encoding image data in a way that maximizes the post-production flexibility of RAW files and makes capturing higher resolutions manageable for anyone.
