Intuitive Workflow and Unparalled Compression

The DSMC2 line of cameras offer a completely overhauled and enhanced image processing pipeline (IPP2). Offering a host of benefits, IPP2 delivers better management of challenging colors, smoother highlight roll-off, and a standardized color space and gamma. RED also features a proprietary file format, which efficiently encodes image data in a way that maximizes the post-production flexibility of RAW files and makes capturing higher resolutions much more manageable.
