NuGen Audio HALO-UPMIX Surround Upmix Software [VIRTUAL]

Halo Upmix from NUGEN Audio is a stereo (or multichannel) to 5.1 / 7.1 upmix plug-in suitable for use in Film, Television, Music and Game Audio production environments. With the optional 3D Immersive Audio Extension, Halo can also be used via an optional 3D extension to produce 9.1 (7.1.2 and 5.1.4), 11.1 (7.1.4) upmixes and 1st, 2nd and 3rd order ambisonic spaces. The Halo upmix process is designed to be highly downmix compatible, providing a natural extension of the existing stereo panorama into a surround context, preserving the inherent character of the original source while providing full control for all relative surround balances for those applications that require a more immersive cinematic dynamic.

The Halo Upmix algorithms produce a natural, coherent spatial upmix, preserving the character of the original audio without adding any artificial reverb, chorus or delays. With the 'Exact' control engaged, Halo Upmix can be used with confidence that the original source integrity is precisely preserved in the downmix.
