The C1030Ds-30L-F from OConnor is a package containing their 1030Ds Head & 30L Tripod with Floor Spreader & Case System. The 1030Ds Ultimate fluid head and 30L tripod systems from OConnor create a complete package for cinematographers working with camera and lens setups weighing up to 41lbs. Combining the ultimate control and stability of the 1030Ds fluid head with the strong but lightweight carbon fiber 30L tripod creates a sturdy but portable support system with all the features required for cine applications.
Using the Ultimate 1030Ds fluid head offers a wealth of features that have been borrowed from the larger OConnor 2575 and 2065 heads to let cinematographers seamlessly transition from heavier to lighter payload camera setups. These include the stepless, ultra-smooth pan and tilt fluid drag specifically enhanced to provide ultimate control and stability, as well as the patented OConnor Sinusoidal Counterbalance system that provides true, accurate balance at any point in the tilt range. Users will appreciate that the system counterbalances down to zero, a handy advantage considering the trend to lighter weight cameras.
The OConnor 1030Ds supports a payload up to 41 lbs. (18.6 kg) at 6” (15cm) COG with a +/- 60° tilt range.
The 30L tripod combines the benefits of new-age materials with precision engineering and has created a support system which is both lightweight, yet solid and stable, an ideal fit for the new generation of smaller new Ultimate 1030D Fluid Heads. A soft carrying case tailored for the head and tripod package makes it easy to protect the equipment during transport and provides a safe and easy way to carry it around locations.
