AJA Hi5-12G-R 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Converter with Fiber Receiver

AJA’s Hi5-12G-R is a Fiber SFP equipped receiver which extends HDMI 4K signals over long distances from either an SDI or a Fiber connected source. Now you can preserve your vision of image fidelity and enjoy HFR support up to 60p for 4K/UltraHD 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 conversion needs with single cable simplicity. The Hi5-12G-R can also generate HDR10 metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0a/CTA-861.3 and supports HLG over HDMI. The Hi5-12G-R provides a simple monitoring connection from professional 4K devices using 12G-SDI over coaxial or Fiber LC outputs to new displays with HDMI 2.0 inputs, for cost effective monitoring in professional workflows.

This fiber receiver from AJA features a 12G-SDI single-link input with a re-clocked SDI loop out for simpler SDI confidence monitoring or pass on for SDI pipelines and an included Fiber LC single channel SFP receiver for extending 4K signals over long distances.

Other Hi5-12G models are available include the Hi5-12G without a Fiber SFP and the Hi5-12G-TR transceiver, which delivers a 4K/UltraHD SDI or Fiber source signal to an HDMI destination with pass on of the source through SDI or Fiber to a secondary destination. All Hi5-12G models include a DWP-U power supply and a USB port for firmware updates.
