The new Switchcraft 280FL is easy to solder (using Kester 63/37 #282), features legitimate strain relief and a very modern, sleek appearance. The only drawback, which is minor, is it makes very strong, positive contact with recessed jacks on stratocasters. The barrel is smooth making it harder to grip. I will purchase more in the future. Made in the USA!
