The DPA 4166-OL-F-F00-MH is a member of DPA Microphones' d:fine 4166 Legacy family of Flex Headset mics. This headset microphone lineup leads the market when it comes to headworn microphones, blending absolute pristine audio quality with unique and simple mechanical solutions along side an extensive accessory selection. This particular model version features an omnidirectional mic and features a 90mm boom and comes in beige with foam windscreen, a set of ID rings and cover, a set of clothing clips, plus MicroDot cable termination. The MicroDot termination allows connection with wireless transmitters from all leading professional audio manufacturers via an appropriate and compatible adapter (see "Adapter system offers you Flexibility" section below).

d:fine™ 4166 Series

Ergonomically designed to fit easily and seamlessly, d:fine will adjust to fit any ear size and head shape while hardly visible and securely mounted on both ears. The dual-ear mount is designed for more active situations and will be safe in even the most rigorous and energetic of performances. The microphone can be moved from the left to the right ear, or into the optimum position just by rotating the boom and earhooks.

The d:fine omni microphone is sensitive to sound from all directions which makes the positioning of the headset less critical and enables placement by untrained personnel; truly a plug-and-play solution for any situation. Staying true to the DPA legacy, the d:fine offers accurate, natural voice intelligibility along with very high SPL handling capabilities – one can both speak and sing into it with no hint of distortion. This makes the DPA d:fine stand head and shoulders above its competition.

While the omni microphone is generally not sensitive to wind, breathing, or handling noise, intensive protection against pop/wind noise is integrated into the microphone design and windscreens are included. Also included is a cable clip which anchors the cable to your clothing, and color-coded ID rings and cover to help provide easy recognition of a specific headset among many.

A service connector splits the cable from the microphone boom and allows for quick exchange of cable lengths/colors/connectors; valuable for servicing if a cable is damaged.

The DPA d:fine series is delivered in a neat, professional roadworthy box with room for accessories like transmitters, batteries, and more.
