Product Overview

Part of DPA Microphones, the 4099-DC-1 is the basic 4099 Instrument Microphone that's designed for use with loud SPL – great for close-miking of most types of instrument sources (Note: there's a version designed for 'extremely' loud situations [4099-DC-2], available separately). It's truly a 'musician's mic' without equal; this series enables you to achieve the purest reproduction of your instrument. These mics feature a supercardioid polar pattern for superior gain-before-feedback. Also, there's a range of other accessories available, enabling you to customize your set up of this mic in the way you need, or add this to your already existing lineup.

Known for their discreet size and elegant design, this series of mics come in a lightweight yet rugged and durable housing. Its integral and versatile gooseneck provides stable and repeatable positioning. The mic can be easily unclipped and repositioned or moved to another mic stand (or instrument, using the proper clip - sold separately).

It features a MicroDot cable termination which opens the door for use with many leading wireless mic systems using a range of available adapters (adapters sold separately). These adapters provide you with flexible, simple, and affordable possibilities; no longer are you bound to one wireless system – as your circumstances change, you can just swap your adapter, rather than incurring the cost of a whole new microphone. And when you make the switch, you won't hear any loss or change in sound quality.

There's powerful technology at the heart of DPA miniature microphones. From pianissimo to forte, you'll experience a more clear and open sound, with minimized distortion and increased dynamic range. Add another layer of sound quality, from the ‘highest of the highs’ to the ‘lowest of the lows,’ further distancing these mics from their competitors.
