This particular model [4018V-B-SL1] features a supercardioid pattern with a pre-programmed 3 dB soft boost at 12 kHz for added high-end emphasis, and comes equipped with an SL1 adapter designed for use with Shure, Sony, or Lectrosonics systems (3rd-party components sold separately). You also have the option of working within a wired system, using the state-of-the-art handle, terminated with an XLR adapter (sold separately). Plus, its excellent definition delivers high separation and true sound color on stage, equally suitable for PA amplification and recording. Also featured is a robust onboard 3-stage pop protection grid for removing unwanted noise.
