A powered 18" subwoofer system from Turbosound, the 3,000 Watt NuQ118B-AN features a dual-ported bandpass enclosure design that's optimally-tuned for extended low frequency (LF) response. Ideally suited for a wide range of music and live sound reinforcement applications, it's engineered to work individually without a controller, and brings very high output FOH (front-of-house) performance. This model includes ULTRANET digital audio networking compatibility, offering up to 16 independent 24-bit digital audio channels plus control data, all transmitted via a single CAT5 cable between compatible digital devices – including mixers, I/O (input/output) stage boxes, powered loudspeakers and personal monitoring systems. Simplified cable routing and ease of setup directly translates into significant installation time savings realized.

The unit features a high-power, double-suspension 18" LF driver that utilizes a specialized inside/outside wound voice coil for higher magnetic density, high power-handling capacity, better heat dissipation, and enhanced efficiency. For a loudspeaker this size and with this operating bandwidth, it delivers extremely high output that's virtually distortion-free – even in the most demanding applications.

Output power is provided thanks to an efficient and lightweight built-in KLARK TEKNIK 3,000-Watt Class-D power amplifier. A sophisticated, but easy-to-use KLARK TEKNIK Digital Signal Processor (DSP) offers dynamic EQ for impressive LF response at low volume levels, along with transparent limiting for clarity at high output levels – and for long-term reliability.

Finished in a highly-durable semi-matte black paint, the cabinet is constructed from ¾" (18mm) birch plywood and includes: multiple M10 threaded rigging points, a 35mm integrated pole socket for satellite speaker (sold separately) mounting, built-in carry handles for convenient transport, plus high-impact interlocking corners for ground stacking stability. Mains power input is provided via a Neutrik powerCON® connector.
