Pioneer DJ TORAIZ AS-1
The second musical instrument in our TORAIZ range, the AS-1 is a monophonic analog synthesizer that brings new creative possibilities to the studio and the stage. Its intuitive controls include parameter knobs that let you make both subtle and dramatic changes to the tone of your music to create your own personalised sound. Plus you can use the touchpad-style keyboard and slider to manipulate sounds during performances.

These headphones ensure superb clarity with clear sound separation, from deep bass to crisp trebles. Even better, they adopt low-volume air chambers and air-tight stitching to improve sound insulation and deliver the pristine sound needed for monitoring in the loudest clubs.

- Collaboration with Dave Smith: Working closely with Dave Smith himself, we have created a synth that produces powerful analogue sound. The TORAIZ AS-1 is an ideal addition to the setups of professional and aspiring producers.
- Prophet-6 Analogue Sound: The AS-1 is based on the same analogue filters as Dave Smith’s renowned Prophet-6 synthesiser. It has 2 voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) with continuously-variable triangle, sawtooth, and pulse wave shapes. Sculpt your sound using the 2 voltage-controlled filters (VCF), a 4-pole, resonant low-pass filter that can self-oscillate, and a 2-pole, resonant high-passfilter.
- Full Programmability: Use the TORAIZAS-1 to create one-of-a-kind sounds using 2 VCOs, 2 VCFs, and VCA, 2 EGs and 1LFO, then save each sound and its parameter settings as a program so you caninstantly access it later.
- Prophet-6 FX: Be creative with the Prophet-6-derived dual FX engine and use a single effect or pair 2 together to add extra texture to your sounds. FX includes Bucket Brigade Delay, Distortion, Ring Modulation, Chorus and Maestro Phaser.
- Keyboard and Scale Mode: The TORAIZAS-1 will make sure your performance is in perfect harmony as you perform the sounds you create with the touchpad keyboard or change the notes assigned tothe keys with Scale Mode.
- Slider: Adddynamic changes to your performance by using the slider to manipulate 7 different parameters. Change the pitch of 2 oscillators, adjust the amount of FX and more.

- Sound Isolation: The ear pads' low-volume air chambers provide maximum insulation, reducing external noise in the mid to low frequencies. Plus their damper and airtight stitching ensure clarity for ease-of-monitoring without needing to crank up the volume in loud clubs.
- Maximum comfort: Designed for maximum comfort and durability, these headphones have lightweight bindings on the headband and hanger to reduce the pressure on your head. Their soft, leather-like ear pads with memory foam ensure a snug fit – whether you're performing in a packed club or producing in the studio.
- Rotatable housing: Each ear cup swivels a full 90 degrees, while the auto-return feature makes them ideal for on-the-shoulder monitoring. Plus the rugged swivel/fold mechanism and hard carry case means they’re easy to transport between gigs.
- Built for professional use: An L-type mini-jack stops the headphones getting knocked or disconnected during performance, even in cramped booths. At the headphone end, a detachable mini-XLR connector means cables can easily be removed for transit or replaced if damaged.
