Audio-Technica ATW-C4100 5000 Series Dynamic Cardioid Mic Capsule based on AE4100

Audio-Technica's ATW-C4100 is a 5000 Series cardioid dynamic vocal microphone capsule that's based upon, and equivalent in audio performance to, the best-selling and industry-respected AE4100 handheld microphone model (sold separately), but in an interchangeable capsule form. It's optimized for on-stage use thanks to its excellent isolation properties, and is engineered to work seamlessly with compatible Audio-Technica handheld transmitters, although its industry-standard thread allows use with other compatible handheld transmitters as well (all transmitters sold separately - see below for A-T model compatibility)

About the Audio-Technica AE4100

Delivers aggressive sound that stays up-front in the mix. It's rugged construction is engineered to withstand the rigors of touring, and provides ultimate protection against vocal plosives, with hardened-steel outer grille that's lined with fine steel mesh and a layer of open-cell foam. Additionally, it has a foam disk positioned on top of the element assembly that makes up the final layer of "pop" protection.
